Dawn S

Founder and Managing Owner

Dawn has always been drawn to aiding others with a passion in human services professions. Putting her motivators together, Dawn has now dedicated nearly two decades to do just that. Her career includes work at nonprofits and the Massachusetts prison system as a Certified Addiction Counselor (CAC) and HIV/AIDS educator, as well as serving children as an Activities Therapist. She also spent over fifteen years assisting businesses and consumers at the Better Business Bureau.

Just under three years ago, Dawn felt a calling to work with seniors and expanded her concierge business in North Carolina. She is certified in First Aid/CPR and as a Dementia Care Practitioner (DCP). Dawn continuously enhances her expertise by taking numerous classes on senior healthcare through Care Academy, a premier caregiver training organization.

In her free time, you will find Dawn relaxing with her pets and two daughters, tending to her garden, writing creatively, and exploring nature through kayaking.

Personal Assistant

Liz has been in the healthcare field for 30 years in various capacities, from Paramedic to Mental Health Office Manager to Long-Term Caregiver.

“From a very young age, I have always wanted to help. It started with family and neighbors and grew into my career.” She enjoys cooking, gardening, painting, kayaking, and going to the beach in her free time.

Robin

In-Home Aide

Robin has personal experience as a caregiver, having supported her husband after he was diagnosed with glioblastoma in 2012. During that time, she realized how important it is for clients to remain in the comfort of their own homes rather than being placed in a facility for care. Whether facing a terminal illness or the challenges of aging, being surrounded by the familiarity of home and the love of family and friends makes a meaningful difference. In her spare time, Robin enjoys going to church, visiting the beach, and spending time with family and friends in North Carolina and Pennsylvania.

Ellen

In-Home Aide

Ellen is a Carteret County native who loves helping and caring for others. She enjoys walking on the beach, playing cards with friends and family, and especially cooking and sharing her food with others. With a background in retail sales and management of seven clothing stores, Ellen brings strong people skills and a heart for service. After caring for her late husband during his battle with cancer, she felt called to become a caregiver and continues to find fulfillment in supporting others with compassion and dedication.
